Real suppliers rarely cold-call. 14-day cooling-off always applies on phone sales. 6 red flags + revocation right.

Spotting a scam callcenter:

  1. unknown or blocked caller ID
  2. urgent threat or "today is the last chance"
  3. seller says "I'm calling on behalf of" a big supplier without verifiable context
  4. they ask for EAN or bank details over the phone
  5. they want to record agreement on the spot ("yes, I want to switch")
  6. refuse to identify employer or call back. Rightsphone consumer sales ALWAYS have 14-day cooling-off (BW 6:230o). Oral consent isn't binding without written confirmation. Action: say "send me a written offer", note name + employer + time, revoke in writing within 14 days. Suspected scam: Fraudehelpdesk + Consuwijzer.
