What they do: (1) Medical examination + forensic evidence collection (HIV PEP, STI testing, contraception, optionally rape kit for later criminal proceedings), (2) psychological crisis support + trauma treatment, (3) legal assistance + support during police reporting, (4) direct referral to lawyers, Slachtofferhulp, and police. When to call? Within 7 days of incident for forensic evidence collection. But you can call later too — no deadline for psychological support. Beyond offline assaults + rapes also: sextortion, revenge porn, unwanted distribution of intimate images, online sexual harassment.
