We use cookies for two things only: keeping the site working (necessary) and measuring how it's used (analytics, opt-in). No advertising, no marketing, no social trackers. Ever.
What cookies we use
Necessary cookies (always active)
| Name | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|
ff_consent | Stores your cookie choice | 12 months |
ff_lang | Remembers your language preference (NL / EN) | 12 months |
PHPSESSID | Form / session continuity | Browser session |
wn_* | Wat Nu? UI preferences (drawer state, tilt, etc.) | 12 months |
These cookies are exempt from consent requirements under the ePrivacy Directive Art. 5(3) because they're strictly necessary for the service to function.
Analytics cookies (only with your consent)
| Name | Purpose | Retention | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Distinguishes unique visitors | 2 years | Google Analytics |
_ga_* | Maintains GA4 session state | 2 years | Google Analytics |
_gid | Distinguishes unique users within 24 hours | 24 hours | Google Analytics |
Analytics cookies are blocked by default. They only load after you click "Accept" on the banner. Google Analytics receives masked IPs and aggregated event data — no personally identifiable information.
How to change your choice
Click the button below to reopen the cookie settings panel. You can also clear your consent entirely.
Browser-level controls
Every major browser lets you block cookies entirely or per-site. This is more aggressive than our banner — it'll break site functionality that depends on session cookies (e.g., the Wat Nu? drawer state resets every visit), but it's your right. Most browsers also honor the "Do Not Track" signal, which we respect even when no consent banner choice has been made.
