How to dispose of car tires in Amsterdam
When replacing tires, the tire shop takes your old ones back for free (mandatory 1-for-1 take-back rule). Otherwise: Recycling Point accepts tires for a small fee (~€5-15 per tire). Tires in bulk waste are not allowed — environmental rules.

- 2Just disposing?Recycling Point accepts max 4 tires at a time. Rate: ~€5-15 per tire, cash or card.
- 3Business volume?Garages and fleets: separate route via certified processor like VACO. Private individuals not welcome there.

What about spiked tires (winter tires with studs)?
Sort separately — sometimes slightly more expensive at Recycling Point (€10-20) due to metal studs.
